Chelsea have seen off challenge from Manchester United to sign promising winger Edwin Andersson despite the closure of the transfer window.







The 16-year-old is a developing talenf and his previous club IFK Gothenburg affirmed his switch.

Chelsea had an agreement set up before the window shut and the club he is coming from, IFK Gothenburg manager, Jonas Olsson conceded selling Andersson was a major misfortune to his side.
